Benidorm cheap holidays
Benidorm is a Valencian coastal town and
municipality located in the comarca of Marina Baixa,
in the province of Alicante, Spain, by the Mediterranean
Sea. The two Benidorm
beaches, Levante and Poniente, are stunning great arcs of
the finest sand that together stretch for more than three
miles. They are kept spotless - tractors sieve the sand
after dark and boats trawl the water for rubbish.

| Benidorm was a sleepy
fishing village 50 years ago; today it stretches just over 3
miles along the coast from E to W and 1¼ miles inland from N
to S at its widest point. The old town with its blue-domed
church, port, esplanade, white houses and narrow streets
struggles to retain any traces of character in a forest of
tower blocks and unsightly, post-1950 developments. Away
from the old Benidorm town, the heaviest concentration of
skyscraper hotels is at Rincon de Loix and a ¾-mile-wide
strip behind the Playa de Levante. There is more to Benidorm
than the popular idea of sun and benidorm cheap holidays,
British-style bars and restaurants, and its large expatriate
community, but not very much. The appeal of its beaches,
lively nightlife and almost year-round sunshine, though, is
strong for a sizeable sector of the holiday market.
Anyone staying on holiday in Benidorm for more than three
weeks at a time is called a long stayer and, rather than
staying in a hotel, they usually rent one of Benidorm's
thousands of self catering apartments, like the Levante Lux.
It's got everything you need, even if a little bland for
your benidorm cheap holidays.
Benidorm is not really the ideal place for a quiet
benidorm cheap holiday, the largest resort on the Costa
Blanca, the Benidorm skyline is full of high rise hotel
apartments that are full to capacity during the summer
months. However, Benidorm has come a long way from the days
of the bucket and spade brigade and has improved its image
considerably, becoming quite chic in the process. For
nightlife the resort cannot be beaten and there is something
for everyone, and for those of you who think that eating out
in Benidorm is all pie and chips, think again. Benidorm has
an old town which has still kept its Spanish culture and the
flavour of Spain in its cuisine. Being set on a wide and
long crescent bay, Benidorms beach is perfect for families
on holiday and provides safe bathing for children under the
supervision of the parents.
